And we're off!

So, we had an early start this morning leaving home at 6am (Thank you for the ride, Susan) and leaving Fort Smith for Atlanta at 7am. It was an uneventful flight except for Andy wanting to get out of his seat while the seat belt sign is lit.

Andy is happier than he looks, really.

We landed in Atlanta with several hours to kill. We shopped for a new splitter for the iPhone so we can listen to an audiobook together. Then we went for manicures/pedicure (thank you Kimberly).

Then we wandered to concourse E which has the most awesome history and art exhibits. We leisurely lunched at Friday's (thank you Terrica), then wandered to our gate since we determined we do not get free access to the Sky Club.

Seriously, we really are traveling with only our backpacks!

And Andy loves his new convertible pants!

We passed the time taking turns walking, making faces at a 2.5 year old passenger named Amelia (the Amelias are invading Stuttgart!), playing cowboys with a little boy, and phoning Arkansas state parks to make our Fall camping reservations. We have reserved our favorite campsites in our favorite parks! Winning!

Shortly we will load onto our Boeing 767, as soon as Delta convinces enough people on this oversold flight to wait until tomorrow. They keep upping the Delta dollar offer...

We should be loading soon! We are hoping to have a quick snack and perhaps go right to sleep. We shall see!

Bon voyage!
